Compromise deal sa Marcos wealth, tutulan –ex-SolGen

Nanawagan kahapon si dating Solicitor General Florin Hilbay sa mga Pilipino na huwag hayaan si Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte na magkaroon ng compromise deal sa pamilya ng namayapang diktador at dating Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos Sr.

Ipinaalala ni Hilbay ang mga nakarang presidente na nagtangkang magkaroon ng compromise agreement sa pamilya Marco ngunit pawang tinutulan ng publiko.

“All non-Aquino presidents—Ramos, Estrada, GMA (Fidel Ramos, Joseph Estrada, Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo) -- tried to enter into a Compromise Agreement with the Marcoses and their billions,” paskil niya sa kanyang Twitter account.

“All failed because Filipinos loudly resisted,” punto ni Hilbay.

“We shouldn’t make Duterte an exception,” diin ng dating SolGen.

Nagsalita si Hilbay matapos kumpirmahin ni Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque ang kopya ng draft agreement na ibinigay sa abogado ng mga Marcos na si Atty. Oliver Lozano.

Sa kabilang dako, tiniyak ni Roque na wala pang nabuong kasunduan sa pamilya Marcos para maplantsa ang pagbabalik ng mga nakaw na yaman sa gobyerno.

“There is no truth to the allegation that the government has reached a compromise agreement with the family of the late President Ferdinand Marcos,” ani Roque.

“Atty. Oliver Lozano may have written to Malacañang proposing the creation of a legal team that would study a compromise agreement with the Marcos family. The proposal, however, has not been acted and agreed upon by the Palace,” dagdag niya.
