PNP handang arestuhin ang mga Tiamzon

“Ready to comply” na ang Philippine National Police (PNP) sa kautusan ng Manila Regional Trial Court (RTC) na muling arestuhin ang mag-asawang consultant ng National Democratic Front (NDF) na sina Benito at Wilma Tiamzon.

Ayon kay Chief Supt. Dionardo Carlos, tagapagsalita ng PNP, susundin nila ang kautusan ng Manila RTC Branch 32, na nilagdaan ni Judge Thelma BunyiMedina, bilang katuparan sa mosyon ng Department of Justice (DoJ) na kanselahin ang P100,000 piyansa ng mga rebelde at isa pang NDF official na si Adelberto Silva.

Inilabas ang kautusan, may petsang Enero 11, 2018, nitong Miyerkules.

“Well, we follow the order of the court, we follow the order of the RTC in Manila for the re-arrest of the (Tiamzon) couple and whoever personalities are included (in the order),” sabi ni Carlos.

Gaya ng sinabi ni Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque, kinakailangang mahuli ng PNP ang magasawa.

Sinabi ni Carlos na madaling matunton ang mag-asawa at si Silva dahil mino-monitor ng PNP-Intelligence Group (IG) ang mga ito.

“Even if they were temporarily released for the purpose of the peace talks, they really have to answer for the violation of the law before the court kasi they were charged accordingly,” ani Carlos.

“Again babalik lang naman tayo doon sa… they should answer for the violation of the law before the court,” dagdag niya.
