NAGLULUKSA ang chess community sa pagpanaw ni dating National Chess Federation of the Philippines (NCFP) board of director at Benguet governor Raul “Rocky” MencioMolintas nitong Pebrero 14 sa San Francisco, California, United States. Siya ay 60. “We would like to inform our relatives and friends that our beloved Dada, Raul Rocky Mencio Molintas, passed away today, Wednesday 14 Feb 2018, 720 US Pacific Standard Time (Thursday, 15 February 2018, 1120AM Philippine time) in San Francisco, California. He briefly passed acute leukemia and hemmorhagic stroke and was unable to recover,” pahayag ng anak na si Charmaine Molintas Likigan.

“We ask you to please join us in fervent prayer for his soul to find peace and for his family’s comfort during this time of sorrow. Viewing in the San Francisco Bay Area before departing for the Philippines is being arranged. Details of his wake and interment in the Philippines will likewise be announced,” aniya.
