Viloria, napuntusan ng Ukrainian

Tinapos ng maruming magboksing na si Artem Dalakian ng Ukraine ang karera ni two- division world titlist Filipino American Brian Viloria para matamo kahapon ang bakanteng WBA flyweight title sa The Forum Inglewood, California sa United States.

“Dalakian’s unorthodox style accompanied by dirty tactics made the fight difficult for Brian Viloria who could not penetrate the Ukrainian inside as the taller Dalakian with longer reach potshoting Viloria from the outside and clinching and grappling in the inside,” ayon sa ulat ng Philboxing.com.

“Dalakian was warned several times by referee Lou Moret in the early rounds for locking and pushing Viloria’s head down,” ayon pa sa ulat. “In round 9, Moret finally deducted a point from Dalakian after several more infractions but the deduction did not affect in any way with the final scores.”

“In the 11th round, Viloria’s forehead was cut from a Dalakian elbow which Brian’s corner failed to close allowing blood to flow drenching Viloria’s face as the fight went to a close in the 12th round,” dagdag sa ulat.

Nanatiling malinis ang rekord ni Dalakian sa perpektong 16 na panalo na may 11 knockouts samantalang posibleng magretiro na si Viloria na may kartadang 38 panalo, 6 na talon a may 23 pagwawagi sa knockouts.
