Sharon Stone, idinepensa si James Franco sa mga alegasyon ng sexual harassment
HINDI naniniwala si Sharon Stone sa lahat ng mga bintang ng pangmomolestiya laban kay James Franco. Ang aktres, na nagkaroon ng cameo role sa
The Disaster Artist ni Franco, ay lumabas sa WTF podcast ni Marc Maron at nagsabing siya ay “appalled” sa mga bintang laban sa kanyang direktor. Inakusahan si Franco noong Enero ng pangmomolestiya ng limang babae na naging acting students niya.
“I’m appalled with what’s happening with (Franco),” saad ni Stone. “Where the girlfriend can say that she’s offended that he asked (her to perform oral sex), while they’re dating and now all of a sudden, he’s a bad guy.”
Tinutukoy ni Stone si Violet Paley, na nag-akusa kay Franco na pinuwersa umano siya ng aktor na magsagawa ng oral sex sa loob ng nakaparadang kotse noong 2016. Consensual ang romantic relationship nina Franco at Paley nang mga panahong iyon. Isiniwalat naman ni Paley na hindi sila nag-oral sex maliban sa nangyaring insidente sa kotse.
“I got to say I worked with him, I know him, he’s the loveliest, kindest, sweetest, most elegant, nicest man,” patuloy ni Sharon Stone. “Most kind friend, lovely professional. I’m absolutely appalled by this.”
Ipinaliwanag ng aktres na may pagkakaiba ang sexual harassment at “stupid” at hindi wastong paguugali. Lahad ng aktres: “You go out with them, they bring you home for a good-night kiss and they grab your hand and put it on their penis. I don’t think they’re trying to sexually harass me, I think they’re just incredibly stupid and awkward.”
Sa mga sitwasyong ganito, sinabi ni Stone na hindi dapat akusahan ng mga babae ang mga lalaki ng harassment at sa halip ay dapat na magsalita sila at sabihing, “Please don’t ever call me again because you’re too stupid to date.”
Ilang buwan nang tagasuporta ang aktres ng #MeToo movement at naghayag sa CBS Sunday This Morning na nakaranas siya ng pangmomolestiya bilang aktres.
“I’ve been in this business for 40 years, Lee,” ani Stone. “Can you imagine the business I stepped into 40 years ago? Looking like I look, from nowhere, Pennsylvania? I didn’t come here with any protection. I’ve seen it all.”
