Buntis na si Heart
Dahilsa maningning na selebrasyon ng Mother’s Day, nagkaroon ng ekslusibong panayam ang Manila Bulletin sa sikat na aktres at painter na si Heart Evangelista, na umaming nagdadalang-tao na, sa asawang si Senator Chiz Escudero.
Sa panayam, sinabi ni Heart na napagdesisyunan na niyang magbuntis at hindi niya inakalang magiging matagal ang proseso bago matupad ang inaasam.
“In the beginning I thought you would get pregnant like that. But I still consider myself very lucky because we tried for three months until I get pregnant. And so, I was really shocked that I got pregnant. That was the time that I was working out a lot and so I really didn’t think that I was going to get pregnant.”
Nang tanungin naman tungkol sa suportang ibinibigay ng asawang senador, aniya, “I never really thought that I would have him with me all the time, kasi, I’m pretty independent. In terms of doing things, I like to do things on my own, but he’s very very supportive and even like just getting my blood test, he also took his blood test ‘cause I hate needles. So, he didn’t really need to get a blood test, but he took the blood test so I didn’t feel alone.”
“He’s just super nice, he’s so nice to me. He’s so sweet. Like, if he was sweet before, he’s even sweeter now,” kinikilig pang sabi ng misis ni Sen. Chiz.
Tinangka umanong ilihim ni Heart ang tungkol sa kanyang pagbubuntis ngunit nahirapan umano siyang itago ito, dahil maraming mga bagay na dapat niyang iwasan at hindi niya alam kung paano magpapaliwanag.
“You’re actually caring a human being. And there’s so many thing you can’t eat and all that. So, parang, I had to tell him right away. And I also needed to ask advice because there are certain things that I’m suppose to do that I can’t do.”
Dahil nga ito ang unang beses na nagbuntis si Heart, nangangamba siya kung paano magiging isang mabuting ina.
“I told Chiz I’m worried. I said, how do you think I’m going to be? And he said, you know what, if you’re good with your dogs and if that’s how you are with animals, then, what if it’s your baby?”
Gusto aniyang gawing neutral lang at classic ang magiging kuwarto ng baby nila.
“The baby room is neutral. I want to it to make neutral and I just want it very classic, but you know, it’s so fun to find out. I can’t wait! In fact, they want us to do the gender reveal party.”
“I feel like you know, I wanna be my own mom, how I wanted to be a mom. I feel that it comes natural to be protective and to love your child but I feel that, I’m going to be a modern mom. I’m not going to forget about my dreams. I’m going to dream with my baby. I’m going to teach her how it’s done. That’s the only thing I’m asking.”
“I’m excited for my child. It’s going to be a fun life!,” pagtatapos ni Heart.
