29 bomba nadiskubre sa Quezon

CAMP NAKAR, Quezon- Nasa 29 na improvised explosive devices (EID’s) ang nadiskubre ng militar sa Sitio Puting Bato Barangay Umiray, General Nakar, iniulat kahapon ng Southern Luzon Command (SOLCOM).

Base sa report, natanggap ng mga tauhan ng Charlie Company, 92nd Infantry Battalion ng Philippine Army ang impormasyon mula sa isang residente sa nasabing lugar.

Natagpuan at itinurn over ng nasabing residente ang improvised explosive device switch subversive documents at personal na gamit na pinaniniwalaang pag-aari ng mga lokal na terorista noong Mayo 18, 2018.

Ang nasabing lokal na terorista ay nakapailalim sa SubRegional Military Area (SRMA) na pinamumunuan ng isang Agnes, misis ni Jordan Mopon alyas Boyong, alyas Miling, misis ni alyas Bart, at mga alyas na Ambo/Bart.

Nagsagawa ng paghahanap ang mga sundalo, sa pamumuno ni Second Lieutenant Calacat, at nadiskubre ang mga pampasabog, na binubuo ng 26 na anti-personnel at tatlong dinamita, at tiniyak ang kaligtasan ng tipster at ang lugar kung saan natagpuan ang EID.

Ayon kay Lieutenant General Danilo G. Pamonag, head ng military command sa nasabing lugar, "this voluntary action of the concerned civilians who are fed up with the continued atrocities of the rebels, is an indication that our efforts to reach out to various stakeholders to help end the atrocities of the local terrorists is paying off and we hope and expect that more concerned civilians will report the presence and activities of the CPP-NPA terrorists."

Sabi pa ni Pamonag, "we will continue our offensive military operations against the CPP-NPA terrorists to keep them on the run and to ensure that they will not be able to conduct terrorist actions against innocent civilians."
