Pari posibleng pinatay dahil sa babae—Digong

Ang umano’y ilegal na relasyon ni Fr. Mark Ventura ng Cagayan sa iba’t ibang babae ang maaaring "strongest" posibleng motibo sa pagpatay sa kanya, pahayag ni Pangulong Duterte nitong Biyernes.

Sa kanyang pagbisita sa Davao City nitong Biyernes ng gabi, binasa ng Pangulo ang bahagi ng confidential police report hinggil sa kaso ni Ventura, na sinabi niyang babaero.

"Ang strongest is actually babae," sabi ni Duterte hinggil sa posibleng motibo sa likod ng pagpatay sa pari nang dumalo sa isang science and technology forum sa Davao City, nitong Biyernes ng gabi.

"There is a big possibility that the first motive, the love triangle, is the main reason why Fr. Mark Anthony Ventura was liquidated by still unidentified person because of so many women who were believed to be linked to him," aniya.

Sa pagbasa sa report, sinabi ng Pangulo na ang mga babae ay "wives and daughters and paramours of bigtime businessmen, politicians, and even members of the --- who have the capability to tap service of highly organized men."

Sinabi niya na nadiskubre ng awtoridad ang umano’y "dirty talk" text messages ni Ventura at ilang babae.

Pabirong sinabi ni Duterte na nais niyang makipagkaibigan kay Ventura matapos malaman na magaganda ang mga babae.

"Ito ang gusto kong ma-barkada. Namatay lang ang buang eh. Baka pwede exchange-exchange," sambit ni Duterte, na umaming babaero.

Sa report, sinabi ni Duterte na si Ventura ay inilarawang "a very kind person, accommodating, independent and a strong character." Ngunit ang pari rin umano ay "a heavy drinker of beer and alleged to be a womanizer,” dagdag niya.

"Information obtained that he had a child with still unidentified woman in Cagayan,” pagsisiwalat niya.

Bukod sa love triangle, hindi rin umano isinasantabi ng awtoridad ang "political motive" sa pagpatay kay Ventura noong Abril.

"Second motive: Political. Information obtained during 2016 national and local elections. Fr. Mark Ventura was discreetly --- has discreetly campaigned for congressman blank against former blank,” ani Duterte.

"Gathered reveals that the politician even fired his rifle after he lost the election. Another informant of the source said this 2018 barangay, he was actively campaigning for barangay,” aniya pa.

Ang hindi pagkakasundo ni Ventura sa mga rebelde at ang kanyang anti-black mining advocacy, sa kabilang banda, ay inalis na bilang motibo sa pagpaty.

“The CPP-NPA motive is perceived to be out of the disputed issue as even the ranks openly condemned the gruesome death of Fr. Ventura,” sabi ni Duterte.
