Pambu-bully kay Jameson on Blake, pinalagan

dagsa ang namba-bash at memes ngayon laban kay Jameson Blake, na nag-post tungkol sa pagpapagawa ng graphic design kapalit ng shout out mula sa kanya, marami rin naman ang nagtatanggol sa Hashtag member.
Sa mahabang post ni Frasco Mortiz, na anak ni Direk Edgar “Bobot” Mortiz, sinabi niyang kahit Fine Arts graduate siya ay hindi naman siya naoffend sa post ni Jameson. Malinaw naman, aniya, na ang tweet ay para lang sa fans ng binata.
“Wow. All the hate on Jameson Blake’s Twitter post shows just how ‘nice’ Filipinos have become on social media.
“I worked with Jameson on A Love to Last, and he’s currently part of my dad’s sitcom, Home Sweetie
Home. He’s a really nice guy who values his work, shows respect to his co-stars, production staff, and the people that he works with.
“I personally saw nothing wrong with his post. It was a friendly request meant for his fans and followers and not a ‘demand’ as some article headlines claim it to be just for the sake of clickbait. I mean, c’mon guys it’s not as if he commissioned an artist to do the design and then upon showing how much it would cost, he then asked if he could get it for free by offering a ‘shout out’. Magkaibangmagkaiba po ‘yun.
“Does it belittle the work of graphic designers? Open for debate. Kasi fine arts grad ako hindi naman ako na-offend. The point here is if I was one of his fans and I’m willing to design a banner in exchange for a shout out from my idol cause it will make me feel happy, what is it to you? Masama ba ‘yun?
“Shout out po sa mga Pinoy na galit na galit sa bully pero game na game sumali sa pambubully ‘pag may kinukuyog na sa social media. “
Sa Facebook naman ipinagtanggol ng filmmaker at producer na si Alemberg Ang si Jameson:
“With permission from Avid Liongoren, I wanted to share his post about this whole Jameson brouhaha. Kawawa kasi ang bata. We’re so quick to judge people kasi we know it’s easy to ‘bully’ a stranger. But when it comes too confrontingg b igger companies and personalities who may have wronged us really badly, we usually just shut up, kasi nga, future work may be on the line.
“Siguro, kung na-offend lahat ng artistang nakatrabaho ko sa pagbuo ng mga indie projects, wala na akong natapos na pelikula. I’ve worked in the education sector and now in the indie sector where almost everything is through pakiusap. I would never have finished a film or a project otherwise. Kahit nu’ng nagtuturo ako. We always ask favors from people. And in return, I try to pay it forward and help out others as well.
“Sa dinami-dami ng projects na tinulungan ko at hindi nagpabayad, ang yaman-yaman ko na siguro ngayon. Pero kasi, helping out someone who needs it will definitely reap some good karma. “Especially in this case, Jameson is one of the nicest people I’ve ever worked with. Partly because we’ve worked with him when he was still new but also because of his upbringing. I’ve met both his parents and they seem to have raised their son well. No airs on set and extremely professional. And super friendly every time we meet him outside the set.
“How I wish this incident has taught him some valuable lessons but also not really hardened him like other ma-showbiz na actors. “At sana, ‘yung mga wagas makapag-comment, at gumawa ng mga meme, concerned din tayo sa ating ekonomiya, sa charter change, sa violation ng human rights, etc... Para at least, well-rounded tayo. Hindi lang pan-showbiz, para sa ekonomiya rin. “Hindi raw maintindihan ni Jameson Blake ‘yung galit n’yo sa exposure na kabayaran, kasi kadalasan ‘yan lang din pambayad sa kanya. Sa showbiz, proper exposure is currency.” Hmmm, may sense naman, ‘di ba, Ms. Peachy
