Congressional spouses ‘wag agaw-eksena sa SONA

- Leslie Ann G. Aquino

“We are calling out on our lawmakers— senators, congressmen and their spouses— to wear modest clothes and simple wardrobes,” ani ALU-TUCP spokesperson Alan Tanjusay.

“The SONA is not an ostentatious fashion show or a dress rehearsal. This day is more of people wanting to know the situation of our country, and what the President plans to do about it, please don’t steal the show from them,” aniya.

“Workers and their families are expecting Duterte to lay down his plans and strategies that would bring economic relief to the prevailing economic gloom that workers and their families are facing due to incredibly rising prices of food and services, falling value of their wages, worsening quality of jobs, joblessness, jobs without security of tenure brought by widespread contractualization practice and unsafe workplaces,” ani Tanjusay.
