Pacquiao, walang grabeng sakit sa puso

WALANG malubhang sakit sa puso si Pambansang Kamao Manny Pacquiao.

Ito ang nilinaw ni Pacquiao makaraang iulat ng kanyang information officer na si Aquiles Zonio na mayrooon siyang “inborn heart problem.”

“Walang problema iyan. It’s just part of medical requirements for athletes,” paglilinaw ni Pacquiao hinggil sa walang pahintulot na ulat ni Zonio.

“I feel fine. I feel great. I thank God for giving me strength everyday and keeping me protected through all the years of my life. Winning by knockout over ( Lucas) Matthysse was a bonus,” sabi ni Pacquiao sa Balita.

Ang panalo kay Matthysse ang ika-60 panalo ni Pacquiao na may kasamang 39 pagwawagi sa knockouts na nagsimula noong Enero 22, 1995 o halos 19 taon nang pagsabak sa ibabaw ng lonang parisukat.

“I really wanted to win this fight and I challenged myself so much in training that I pushed myself to the maximum limits of my body,” diin ni Pacquiao. “I always knew that training hardest makes every fight easier.”

Pinaalalahanan naman ng mga doktor ang publiko na huwag maghayag ng opinyon sa kalagayan ni Pacquiao kung hindi dalubhasa.

“First and foremost, we protect the patient. We give clearance as we deem fit. Individuals who have no medical background should refrain from giving out opinions especially if they do not have the medical records and experience,” paglilinaw ng isang doctor na tumangging pabanggit ng pangalan. “Patients also have the right to secrecy and that is strictly confidential and protected by our laws.”
