Pista at the Park at All-Star Parade, ngayong Sabado

ANG Pista at the Park Grand Fans Day and AllStar Parade ang pinakamalaking kick off ng 2018 Pista ng Pelikulang Pilipino (PPP), na isasagawa ngayong Sabado, 10:00 am sa Liwasang Aurora sa Quezon Memorial Circle.

Ang event na ito ay libre sa publiko at organisado ng Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP). Puno ng activities ang buong araw ng fun-filled games at cultural performances mula sa Sindaw, Kontra-GaPi at kay Ryan Tamondong. May special performances din mula sa local artists na sina Mark Joseph Bornales, Mikhail Ali Hooshmand, Awkweird, Van Sulitas, Shaira Hao, Alexia Sumilang, Onin Gonzales, Cheantel Daints Caro, Edric Vanguardia, at Stef Aranas.

Sa ganap na 2:00 pm, ang PPP All-Star Parade ay magsisimula sa harap ng MTRCB Building sa Timog Avenue, at magtatapos sa Quezon Memorial Circle.

Ang walong full-length films ay magkakaroon ng designed trucks kasama ang kanilang mga artista, ganun din ang Special Feature Section at Sine Kabataan entries.

Ilan sa malalaking bituin na kasama sa Pista at the Park sina Markus Paterson at Sue Ramirez ng Ang Babaeng Allergic sa WiFi; sina Devon Seron, Vance Larena, at Nikko Natividad ng Bakwit Boys; sina Nico Antonio, Edgar Allan Guzman, at Chai Fonacier for Pinay Beauty; si Christian Bables, ng Signal Rock; sina JC Santos at Bela Padilla, ng The Day After Valentine’s; si Winwyn Marquez, ng Unli Life; at si Erich Gonzales, ng We Will Not Die Tonight.

Mahigit sa 100 passes ang ipara-raffle sa buong araw sa PPP’s PistAmazing Race kung saan lahat ay puwedeng sumali sa pamamagitan lamang ng paggawa ng hindi bababa sa 10 sa 12 na tasks na ibibigay sa mismong araw ng Pista at the Park. Ang kailangan lang nilang gawin ay i-download ang PistApp sa Google Play o App Store para makasali.

Ang Pista at the Park ay co-hosted ng Office of the Vice Mayor Quezon City (OVM) at Quezon City Film Development Commission (QCFDC) kasama ng Pista at the Park official event sponsor, ang JCE Inflatables.

Ang PPP ay mapapanood sa August 15-21, 2018 sa lahat ng sinehan nationwide at presented in partnership with National Cinemas Association of the Philippines (NCAP), UNICEF, Globe Play It Right, Solar Entertainment Corporation, Outpost Visual Frontier, Nestle, Camella Condo Homes, ThinkBit, at Sequioa Hotel.
