NAGBALIK na ang K-pop boy band iKON sa music scene kasabay ng paglalabas ng kanilang New Kids: The Final album.

May apat na kanta ang album: ang

promotional song na Goodbye Road,

Don’t Let Me Know, Adore You at Perfect.

Ito ang comeback ng grupo mula nang i-release ang kanilang kantang Killing Me noong Agosto.

“We are also surprised at our speedy comeback. We can’t believe we’re making our third comeback this year, but we don’t really know how we did it. Doing our best is a necessity, so I think we were lucky,” sabi ni

B.I. sa press conference para sa naturang album nitong Lunes, ayon sa YG Life.

Lahad ng grupo, “(they) would be grateful if a lot of people enjoyed our music, but we emptied our minds. We hope a lot of people would listen to the song comfortably.”

Ang Goodbye Road ay isinulat at kinatha ni B.I., na nagpaliwanag na “I thought about the antonym of ‘flower road’ and came up with ‘goodbye road.’ After that, I started writing the lyrics.”

“I thought about the word ‘goodbye road,’ imagining someone leaving for somewhere after a break-up. I had to draw a lot of drawings about it,” sabi naman ni Bobby na katuwang sa pasulat ng liriko at ang umarte kasama ang isang aktres sa music video ng nasabing kanta, na mayroon nang 2.85 million views habang isinusulat ang balitang ito.

Aniya, “I worked with an actress this time. It was hard to express emotions. I was supposed to make a lonely facial expression since it’s a sad song, but we always showed our bright side. It was hard trying to get emotional”.

Tungkol naman sa music video, sabi ng iKON, “We took the video a year ago, and filmed additionally a month ago to fill in some points. It will be interesting to compare our past and present.”

Umaasa sila na “a lot of people like the song. We will continue to present music that express our age and generation.”

Dadalhin ng iKON ang kanilang 2018 Continue Tour sa Manila sa Nobyembre 11 sa Mall of Asia Arena.
