3,901 Bulakenyo, tumanggap ng cash grant mula sa Department of Social Welfare and Development

NASA kabuuang 3,901 Bulakenyo mula sa pitong bayan at isang lungsod ang tumanggap ng cash grants mula sa Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) sa paglulunsad ng Unconditional Cash Transfer (UCT)-Listahan payout sa Malolos, Bulacan, nitong Biyernes.

Saksi si DSWD Acting Secretary Virginia Orogo at ilang department at provincial officials sa pagbabahagi ng P2,400 sa bawat benepisyaryo sa Bulacan Capitol Gymnasium.

Ilan sa P9.36 milyong cash grants ay ipinamahagi sa 996 benepisyaryo mula sa Hagonoy; 708 sa City of Malolos; 564 sa Pulilan; 462 sa Calumpit; 380 sa Guiguinto; 309 sa Plaridel; 244 sa Balagtas; at 238 sa Paombong.

Kinilala ang mga benepisyaryo sa pamamagitan ng National Household Targeting System for Poverty Reduction (NHTS-PR) o Listahanan.

Sinabi ni Orogo na nais ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte na mapalago ang mga negosyo sa bansa kaya nagkaloob sila ng cash grant para sa buong taon na dapat sana ay P200 kada buwan.

“That is what our President wants. If we have public services, it should be comfortable and if possible, there is no difficulty in accessing government services,” ani Orogo.

Ayon kay Governor Wilhelmino M. Sy-Alvarado, ang cash grants na ibinigay sa mga kuwalipikadong benepisyaryo ay hindi pagbibigay ng limos sa mahihirap kundi pagtulong na mamuhay nang may dignidad.

“We sincerely hope that through this government grant you will not only temporarily cope with the burdensome conditions of your families, but will serve as a bridge to your permanent, noble, secure and abundant life,” pahayag niya.

Mayroong 15,920 UCT-Listahan beneficiaries sa Bulacan, na may mga natitirang recipients na nakatakdang impormahan sa oras na maayos ang schedule.
