Zayn, walang naging kaibigan sa One Direction members
NAGPAPAKATOTOO talaga si Zayn Malik pagdating sa kanyang hindi kagandahang pag-alis sa One Direction.
Ayon sa Entertainment Tonight, ibinahagi ng 25 taong gulang na singer ang tungkol sa napakamatagumpay na boy band noong 2015, sa isang bagong panayam sa British Vogue.
Sinabi ni Zayn na wala siyang naging kaibigan nang mga panahong aktibo pa ang banda, kahit na limang taon din silang nagsama-sama bilang One Direction – na kinabibilangan din nina Harry Styles, Liam Payne, Niall Horan at Louis Tomlinson.
“I have always been a bit like that, though -always a bit of an island,” sabi ni Zayn. “I don’t like to confer with too many people.”
“We went from theaters to arenas to stadiums -- there was never any sort of bridge between,” aniya pa tungkol sa intense experience ng kanilang mabilis na pagsikat. “Just boom, boom, boom. I guess that kind of progression to any mind -- but especially when you’re 17, 18 -- it kind of affects you a little bit. People take it different ways -- especially when there are five different personalities. The relationships had broken apart.”
Wala na ngayong ugnayan si Zayn sa kahit na sino sa dati niyang bandmates, at inamin niyang may “bad blood” pa rin sa pagitan nila.
“I ain’t spoke to any of them for a long time, to be honest with you,” sabi pa niya. “That’s just the way it is. There’s things that happen iannd things that were said after I left... Snide things. Small things that I would never have expected.”
Sa kasalukyan, si Zayn ay isang solo artist, at kinumpirma niya ring nagkabalikan na sila ng 23-year-old supermodel na si Gigi Hadid
mula nang maghiwalay noong Marso.
“Everything is great,” kuwento niya tungkol sa kanilang relasyon. “She’s superorganized and I’m really not. It helps that she can get things together for me a little bit. I lean on her a lot.”
Nakapanayam ng ET ang One Direction noong November 2015, nang mga panahong umalis si Zayn sa grupo.
Sa statement ni Zayn nang panahon ng paglisan niya sa grupo, aniya, “I am leaving because I want to be a normal 22-year-old who is able to relax and have some private time out of the spotlight. I know I have four friends for life in Louis, Liam, Harry and Niall. I know they will continue to be the best band in the world.”
Sabi naman ni Louis sa ET:I think in any field of work, when you lose someone on your team, obviously it’s hard, but the positive take on the situation is we felt we definitely got closer as a group.”
“Zayn did have different musical tastes, so that’s fine,” dagdag pa niya.
More recently, nakausap din ng ET si Simon Cowell noong Agosto, at sinabi niyang maaaring mabuo ulit ang One Direction sa hinaharap. Nabuwag ang banda noong 2016 makaraang madiskubre sa British X Factor noong 2010, kung saan judge si Simon.
“I just think the legacy is too big not to go back to at one point,” sabi ni Simon. “Plus, they have enough songs. I didn’t realize how many hits they’ve had... When they do get back together, it will be a huge event. But look, they’re all doing their own thing and they’re all being successful. But I have a feeling it will happen. I really do. I’d love it to happen.”
