SIBAK SA ‘RUBOUT’

2 Rizal Police officials, 14 sa HPG, tanggal

Sinibak sa puwesto ang dalawang matataas na opisyal ng Rizal Police Provincial Office at 14 na tauhan ng mga ito kaugnay ng police operation na ikinasawi ng security aide ng abogado at senatorial bet na si Glenn Chong.

Tinanggal ni Police Regional Office (PRO)-4A Director Chief Supt. Edward Caranza sa puwesto sina Rizal Police Provincial Office Director Senior Supt. Lou Evangelista, at Cainta Police Office chief Supt. Pablito Naganag.

Kasama rin sa sinibak sa puwesto ang 10 tauhan ng PRO-4A Regional Intelligence Group, at na operatiba ng Cainta Police.

Isinaisailalim na rin sa imbestigasyon 16 na pulis kaugnay ng nasabing kaso, ayon kay Caranza.

“I have issued the relief of the Provincial Director of Rizal, I have ordered the relief of the chief of police of Cainta. I also talked with the Highway Patrol Group for the relief of the Highway Patrol Unit team of Rizal. All other policemen involved in the operation were also ordered relieved,” pahayag ni Caranza.

Ipinalit sa puwesto ni Evangelista si Supt. Dionisio Bartolome habang ipinalit naman kay Naganag si Supt. Gauvin Unos.

Nag-ugat ang pag-relieve sa mga ito sa pagkakapaslang kay Richard Santillan, security aide ni Chong, sa isang operasyon ng mga awtoridad sa Cainta, nitong Lunes.

Napatay si Santillan matapos umanong makipagbarilan sa mga pulis nang takasan niya, at ng isa pang lalaki, ang isang checkpoint.

“We are not saying that our police was wrong. What we are saying is that there maybe an excessive force. We call it administrative relieve so as not to influence the investigation,” sabi pa nito.
