PARA MAKIPAGBATI KAY MEGHAN Thomas Markle, humingi ng tulong sa Queen

LUMABAS sa telebisyon ang ama ng Duchess of Sussex, si Thomas Markle, sa ikalawang pagkakataon upang manawagan at makipagayos sa kanyang anak na si Meghan Markle,

na ayon sa kanya ay tine-text niya “every day” ngunit wala siyang natatanggap na sagot, ayon sa The Telegraph.

Nanawagan si Thomas sa kanyang anak, na ngayon ay buntis, “to put their differences aside for the holidays”, kasabay ng kumpirmasyon niyang hindi pa siya kinakausap ni Meghan simula nang magpakasal kay Prince Harry

noong Mayo.

Ang naturang pagpalabas sa telebisyon ang pinakabago sa ilang panayam sa kanya maging sa pahayagan, kung saan ibinahagi niya ang detalye sa nakalipas nilang usapan, gayundin ang mga liham at mga larawan na itinatago niya.

Speaking from San Diego, sinabi niya sa Good Morning Britain na hihingi siya ng tulong sa Queen upang buuin o ayusin ang gap sa pagitan nila ni Meghan, at aniya pa: “I would appreciate anything she could do. I would think she would want to resolve family problems.

“All families, royal or otherwise, are the same and they should all be together – certainly around the holidays.”

Nang hingian ng mensahe para sa Duchess, aniya: “I love you very much, you’re my daughter and I would really like to hear from you.

“Whatever differences we have, we should be able to work them out.”

Sa mga report na may mga nainis o nagalit na staff sa Duchess dahil sa ugali at gawain nito behind the scene, aniya: “I don’t really believe them. I think they’re gossip and I don’t really

believe them.

“Meghan’s always been a very polite girl. She’s never been rude to anyone to my knowledge.

“She was raised on Hollywood stages and learned to respect the crew and learned to respect everyone. I just can’t see her being rude to anyone, it’s not her.

“She’s always been a very controlling person and that’s part of her nature. She’s never been rude. The ghosting I don’t completely understand.

“To my knowledge she’s always been in charge – that’s her nature – but she’s always been polite with it.”

Itinanggi rin niya ang usap-usapan na ugali ng Duchess na mag-”dump” ng tao kapag wala na siyang mapapala sa mga ito. “That’s really not a character trait.

“She’s always been very polite to everyone, never been rude to anyone. I don’t know what’s really happening right now.”

Sumang-ayon naman ang 74 taong gulang na grandfather-to-be “that he had been ‘ghosted’ by his daughter”. Isiniwalat din ng GMB host na si Piers Morgan na hindi na rin siya pinapansin ni Meghan makaraang maging kaibigan o kasama noong nagsisimula pa lang sa kanyang acting career:

“I’m very disappointed by it - I’m not sure why it’s happening,” sabi ni Thomas. “This can’t continue forever. I don’t plan to be silent for the rest of my life.

“I love my daughter very much and she has to know that, and I would really appreciate if she would call me, just reach out to me.

“There has to be a place for me. I’m here, she knows it.”
