MAKALIPAS ng apat na taong hiatus, magbabalik na ang Miss Teen

Philippines sa pageant scene na may mas malaking responsibilidad na isulong ang edukasyon.

Simula na ang Miss Teen Philippines 2019, isang beauty contest na layuning isulong ang pandaigdigang kahandaan sa pamamagitan ng edukasyon, ayon kay Youth Empowerment Through Education Foundation Inc. Director Regine Angeles.

Kung ikaw ay 14-18 anyos, natural-born Filipino, may nasa 5’2″ pataas, at kasalukuyang nag-aaral, maaari kang ikaw na ang magiging susunod na Miss Teen Philippines, ayon kay Regine.

“We are looking for an exceptional winner who is not just a pretty face, but must also be at the forefront in promoting our cause and be a role model among her peers. Of course, we will also take into consideration the candidate’s personality. She should be outgoing and exudes the vibe of the younger generation,” aniya.

Makikipagtulungan ang Miss Teen Philippines sa iba’t ibang local government agencies upang isulong ang adhikain ng pageant na hasain ang kabataan para sa kahandaan sa pagsabak sa global arena.

“We have had initial talks with various government agencies, particularly Department of Social Welfare and Development, Department of Education, and National Youth Commission. So far, they are more than willing to extend assistance and make Miss Teen Philippines a partner in some of their initiatives,” ani Regine.

Magsasagawa ng screening ng mga kandidata sa Pampanga, Iloilo City, Davao City, Cebu, CDO, Bicol, Mimaropa, Laguna, Ilocos/La Union, at Metro Manila.

Sa Enero 5, ang screening ay sa Iloilo; Enero 12 sa Pampanga; Enero 26 sa Sta. Rosa, Laguna; Pebrero 16 sa Cagayan de Oro City; Pebrero 23 sa Bicol; Marso 2 sa Cebu; Marso 9 sa Puerto Princesa City, Palawan; Marso 16 sa Davao; Marso 23 sa Vigan, Ilocos Sur; at Marso 30 sa Metro Manila.

Mada-download ang application forms sa opisyal na Facebook page ng Miss Teen Philippines, at dapat na maisumite bago ang Pebrero 1, 2019.

Ang magwawaging Miss Teen Philippines 2019 ay tatanggap ng P300,000 cash prize habang ang first runner-up ay mag-uuwi ng P200,000. Ang Miss Teen Philippines – Luzon, Visayas, at Mindanao ay tatanggap naman ng P100,000 cash bawat isa.
