Bulacan punong abala sa chess tourney

MAGSISILBING punong abala ang Grace of Shekinah School Gymnasium sa Santa Maria, Bulacan sa pagsambulat ng pinakahihintay na Santa Maria Town Fiesta 2020 Chess Challenge sa Pebrero 2, 2020.

Ang kambal na torneo (non-master at kiddies 14 years old and under categories) ay suportado ni Fiesta 2020 President Mr. Christopher C. Trajano na inorganisa ni engineer Norberto De Jesus.

“The National Chess Federation of the Philippines sanctioned tournament is being held coincide the celebration of Santa Maria Town Fiesta is open to all non-master chess players and kiddy chess players. This is part of our grassroots development program,” sabi ni engineer Norberto De Jesus.

May Cash prizes naghihintay sa magwawagi kung saan ang magkakampeon sa non-master division ay mag-uuwi ng P6,000 habang nakalaan sa runner-up ang P3,000 at ang third-placer ay magsusubi ng P1,500. Ang next two chessers ay magbubulsa ng tig P1,000 at P700 habang ang sixth hanggang 8th placers ay tatangap ng tig P500.

Ang Top Santa Maria ay magsusubi ng P1,000 habang tig P500 naman para sa Top Bulakenyo, Top HS/College, Top Lady at Top Senior.

Sa kiddies ang first three winners ay magkakamit ng tig P3,000, P1,500 at P1,000 habang ang next two placers ay tatangap ng P600 at P400, ayon sa pagkakasunod. Nakalaan sa Sixth hanggang Eight placers ang tig P300. Nakalaan sa Top Santa Maria at Top Bulakenyo ang tig P500.

Ang registration fee ay P350 sa non-master division at P300 naman sa kiddies 14 years old and under class sa seven-round Swiss System tournament. Ang time control ay 20 minutes na may 5 seconds delay per player, play-to-finish at no Pooling of Prizes.
