18 ‘high risk’ areas sa COVID-19

Bunsod ng mataas na daily case load ng COVID-19, attack rate, o high hospitaliz­ation occupancy, 18 local government units (LGUs) sa bansa ang kabilang sa “high-risk” areas.

Ito ang resulta ng monitoring report ng OCTA Research nitong October 26 saan pinangalan­an ito na mga sumusunod:

Sa Metro Manila ay Pasay, Makati, Pasig at Mandaluyon­g; Baguio City, Benguet Itogon, Benguet; Calamba, Lagun; Angono, Rizal; Cainta, Rizal; Taytay, Rizal; Lucena, Quezon; Ilagan, Isabela; Batangas City, Batangas; General Trias, Cavite sa nalalabing bahagi ng Luzon.

Sa Visayas, tinukoy ang Iloilo City, Iloilo at San Carlos City, Negros Occidental, at Mindanao ay ang Davao City, Davao Del Sur at Butuan City, Agusan Del Norte.

“We are concerned that these LGUs may experience high hospital burden in the coming weeks that may stress their healthcare systems and overwhelm their medical frontliner­s,” saad ng OCTA Research.
