“If you will speak about who will be responsible, I myself will be responsible for what I am doing right now and also all of our members of the NTF. We are held responsible for these negotiations,” sagot ni Galvez.
“In terms of responsibility, I will take care of the responsibility because the President has said that in this procurement process I will be held responsible for this, together with Defense Secretary Delfin Lorenzana and Interior Secretary Eduardo Ano.”
"That’s why we wanted these negotiations to be transparent and to be diligent and should be sciencebased,” aniya pa.
“Also we consulted the HTAC (Health Technology Assessment Council (HTAC) on what vaccine will be safe and effective and also affordable,” punto pa ni Galvez.
“It depends on the vaccine saka po ‘yung legal ano ng indemnification kasi po ‘yung ano natin na there should be a consent. So, I think the age of consent is 18,” pahayag ni Galvez.
“I’d also like to clarify 18 years oldand above po ang priority po natin,” wika ni Galvez.
“The supplier will ask for a bulletproof indemnity waiver so we need to reconcile these two points. So, to be safe it should be 18 at least, in our case, if you meld the scientific and legal aspect of the problem,” panig naman ni Finance Undersecretary Mark Dennis Joven.
