Suspected head of Abu Sayyaf victim found LOCAL police in Indanan town found on Wednesday a decapitated head believed to be that of 18-year-old Patrick Jhames Almodavar, who was kidnapped by the Abu Sayyaf Group last July 17 in Jolo, Sulu. The Western Mindanao Command reported that the head wrapped in a plastic bag was left by three men on board a motorcycle, according to witnesses. The severed head is currently being processed by Scene of the Crime Operatives and the Indanan police. Mr. Almodavar was abducted by the Ajang-Ajang faction of the Abu Sayyaf, who reportedly set Wednesday as the deadline for the ransom payment demanded from his family.
