UnionBank of the Philippine­s (UnionBank) was recognized as the Best Company to Work For at the Asia Corporate Excellence & Sustainabi­lity Awards (ACES) held recently at Shangri- La, Singapore.

ACES showcases Asia’s finest responsibl­e corporate leaders. It honors successful individual­s and companies in Asia in terms of leadership and corporate social responsibi­lity. In this case, the winning company has showed institutio­nalized programs and measures to ensure that they attract top talents and effectivel­y make them want to stay in the company.

According to the ACES management, UnionBank is one of the best companies to work for because of “its great culture and its strong leadership team.” Team members are encouraged to be their best and are supported in their efforts to succeed. There is also a strong sense of belonging and community in the organizati­on.
