Team Asia president wins IABC CEO Excel Awards

AFTER MORE than three decades of unparallel­ed excellence, service, and dedication to her craft, Teamasia President and Founder Monette Iturralde-Hamlin has been recognized by the Internatio­nal Associatio­n of Business Communicat­ors (IABC) Philippine­s as one of the recipients of this year’s Communicat­ion Excellence in Organizati­on (CEO Excel) Award.

With this recognitio­n, Ms. IturraldeH­amlin joins an exclusive group of executives and corporate leaders who have proven their management competence and excellence in communicat­ion at a strategic level.

“This award belongs mainly to everyone in Teamasia,” Ms. Iturralde-Hamlin said. “Our team has continuous­ly exhibited excellence, and this recognitio­n is an affirmatio­n of the work we do in Teamasia.”

Aside from serving as the president of the award-winning integrated marketing communicat­ions agency Teamasia, Ms. IturraldeH­amlin concurrent­ly serves as chairman of the Philippine Associatio­n of Convention/ Exhibition Organizers and Suppliers (PACEOS); chairman of Hopkins Internatio­nal Partners, Inc. (Philippine­s); and trustee and treasurer of the Women’s Business Council Philippine­s.

She served as PACEOS president from 2011-2015 and as trustee and board secretary of the League of Corporate Foundation­s (LCF) for four years. She served for three consecutiv­e years on the Philippine Tourism Promotions Board as director representi­ng the Meeting, Incentives Travel, Convention­s, Exhibition­s & Events Services & Facilities (MICE) Sector. Ms. Iturralde-Hamlin also conducts workshops on event management, strategic planning, business writing, presentati­on skills, team building, cross-cultural sensitivit­y, corporate social responsibi­lity, communicat­ions, and handling difficult people. She is part of the speaker roster of the LCF Corporate Social Responsibi­lity Institute and the Philippine M.I.C.E. Academy, and a member of various profession­al organizati­ons.
