Team Asia president wins IABC CEO Excel Awards

AFTER MORE than three decades of unparalleled excellence, service, and dedication to her craft, Teamasia President and Founder Monette Iturralde-Hamlin has been recognized by the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) Philippines as one of the recipients of this year’s Communication Excellence in Organization (CEO Excel) Award.

With this recognition, Ms. IturraldeHamlin joins an exclusive group of executives and corporate leaders who have proven their management competence and excellence in communication at a strategic level.

“This award belongs mainly to everyone in Teamasia,” Ms. Iturralde-Hamlin said. “Our team has continuously exhibited excellence, and this recognition is an affirmation of the work we do in Teamasia.”

Aside from serving as the president of the award-winning integrated marketing communications agency Teamasia, Ms. IturraldeHamlin concurrently serves as chairman of the Philippine Association of Convention/ Exhibition Organizers and Suppliers (PACEOS); chairman of Hopkins International Partners, Inc. (Philippines); and trustee and treasurer of the Women’s Business Council Philippines.

She served as PACEOS president from 2011-2015 and as trustee and board secretary of the League of Corporate Foundations (LCF) for four years. She served for three consecutive years on the Philippine Tourism Promotions Board as director representing the Meeting, Incentives Travel, Conventions, Exhibitions & Events Services & Facilities (MICE) Sector. Ms. Iturralde-Hamlin also conducts workshops on event management, strategic planning, business writing, presentation skills, team building, cross-cultural sensitivity, corporate social responsibility, communications, and handling difficult people. She is part of the speaker roster of the LCF Corporate Social Responsibility Institute and the Philippine M.I.C.E. Academy, and a member of various professional organizations.
