GIVING HEALTH IN A BOX THIS CHRISTMAS SEASON

TRITE AS it may sound, Christmas has always been about gift-giving and because choosing gifts might — and has been proven — to be quite the headache for some, natural food and product store chain Healthy Options is attempting to make it easier by offering its annual selection of gift boxes curated to suit varied tastes.
Known for its themed gift boxes, Healthy Options this year decided to focus on the ageold symbols of Christmas, with a stained-glass motif that is also evident in the store windows of its branches.
“People really come looking for the boxes and it has become a must-have for our members: you’ll know you’re special if you’re given a Healthy Options box,” Pam So- Suarez, director of brand marketing, told BusinessWorld during the launch last month.
The Star of Bethlehem box, priced at P6,995 is a premium box set which consists of gourmet selections, while the St. Nicholas Box, priced at P3,995, is composed of snacks and “goodies that everyone can share and enjoy,” according to a company press release.
The Advent Candle box, priced at P2,995, is composed of mainly organic selections for those who want to binge without the guilt, while the Evergreen Fir box at P2,995, much like the St. Nicholas Box, also contains healthy all-natural snack options. Finally, the Christmas Angel box, at P2,995, contains gluten-free treats for those with specialized diets.
Aside from Christmas boxes full of food, Healthy Options also provides two boxes containing “pampering essentials”: the Mistletoe, priced at P595, composed of bathing staples such as shampoo, conditioner and soap; and the Poinsettia, priced at P1,095, composed of a wider array of products which includes a body scrub and a face mask.
The Christmas gift boxes are available for purchase at any of the 25 branches of Healthy Options nationwide. —
