- Keith Richard D. Mariano

LEECHIU Property Consultants (LPC) has forged its partnership with CBRE Group, Inc., creating an alliance expected to corner more transactions in the Philippine real estate services sector.

In a statement issued on Monday, the local property brokerage said its strategic alliance with CBRE Group has become effective for purposes of providing leasing, capital markets and consulting services in the Philippines.

The partnership will allow CBRE to reach new clients across the local commercial real estate space through LPC. The local brokerage, in return, will gain access to the Los Angeles-based consultancy’s international expertise and network in the Asia Pacific, Americas and the Europe, Middle East and Africa regions.

Under the arrangement, LPC and CBRE have started collaborating on market surveys to identify prospective clients and ride on the ongoing growth and expansion of the Philippine real estate industry.

The alliance between LPC and CBRE is expected to attract more investments across the financial services, information technology and business process management (IT-BPM), manufacturing as well as hospitality and leisure industries.

LPC expects to facilitate P17.6 billion worth of transactions in the IT-BPM sector alone within the next six to 12 months. To date, it has arranged at least 2 million square meters of office leasing transactions and more than P100 billion of investment sales. —
