PTAA, PAL renew partnership ahead of Travel Tour Expo 2017

-

The Philippine Travel Agencies Association (PTAA) and Philippine Airlines (PAL) renewed their longstanding partnership in the annual staging of the Travel Tour Expo (TTE).

TTE Chairperson Maria Michelle Reyes-Victoria said PAL has always provided Filipinos with the opportunity to travel and experience travel destinations both in the country and abroad.

“Over the years, PAL has continuously offered a wide range of packages at affordable rates during the expo. PAL is one of the key reasons to the success of TTE and we are very glad to have them on board again this year,” Victoria said.

For his part, Philippine Airlines President and Chief Operating Officer Jaime Bautista said he is hoping the TTE will again boost the national carrier’s ticket sales and its promotions efforts.

“PTAA has been a long- time partner of the Philippine Airlines. Being the biggest organization of travel agents, a very professional organization, we have been working with them for so many years. We are seeing to it that we continue to offer affordable fares to their customers,” Bautista said.

He added: “We are expecting more bookings as a result of TTE. On our part we will offer attractive and interesting fares and fares that our passengers will be happy about—fares that are competitive in the market.”

PAL has been participating in TTE since its inception 24 years ago. When TTE opens on February 10, PAL will be using one hall on the second floor of SMX Convention Center in Pasay City to accommodate the influx of visitors looking to book their travels with the national carrier.
