Paul Catiang I was walking along Luzon Avenue to teach a yoga class and there was a crowd on the pedestrian overpass at the corner of Congressional. The cause? Someone — a woman, it seemed — was shot dead in broad daylight, and the police were already processing the scene. Two hours later, I walked back and there was no crowd, no police, no body—just a sheet of plywood and some tarps where the body had lain. Are we supposed to live with this specter of murder? Is it to be a common occurrence?
