7 colleges in Central Visayas apply for tuition increases
AT LEAST seven colleges and universities in the Central Visayas Region have applied for an increase in tuition and other school fees for the next school year, said Commission on Higher Education (CHEd) Regional Director Freddie T. Bernal told The Freeman. Another academic institution is seeking an increase in fees for freshmen students only. Mr. Bernal said the common reasons cited were increase in the salary of employees and to improvement of facilities. He declined to name the institutions pending the assessment of applications. —
