Team RL and TDP Wolfpack dominate rivals in LGR Hoops

TEAM RL and TDP Wolfpack carved out contrasting victories in the Corporate Division of the LGR Hoops Season 4 at the Titan Love Court in Fort Bonifacio just recently.

Behind the hot shooting pair of Pat Giron and Rhayan Cruz, Team RL defeated Sitel Alpha 2, 89-82, in the Corporate Division.

Mr. Giron finished with 27 points, including a steady 12-of-14 shooting from the foul line while Mr. Cruz contributed 24 markers, including three triples and a perfect 5-of-5 shooting from the free throw area.

Mr. Cruz’s timely shooting was enough to earn him Best Player of the Game in this event sponsored by Bugsy’s, Rain or Shine, Titan, NBA Store, Gatorade, BTV, Golds Gym, Zark’s Burger, Kartilya, SYF and Ybalai.

TDP Wolfpack blasted Asurion PH, 84-32, also at the Titan Love Court as Sam Basco and Eleazar Apacible combined for 44 markers, towing their team all the way to the easy win. TDP Wolfpack raced to an early 39-18 lead and didn’t look back from there.

In the Neophyte Division, TaoNikon scored a similar easy win over Bona-X, 66-48, at the North Greenhills Gym.

Three players led by Robert Barlaw scored in double figures for Tao-Nikon, which led from start to finish. Mr. Barlaw led the way with 18 points followed by Darwin Bautista’s 17 and Marvin Punla’s 12.

RJS Construction continued to make its mark by outplaying I Protect Saftey Shoes, 78-70, at the Cloverleaf Gym. PJ Fernandez scored 15 points to lead RJS Construction to victory.
