Shangri-La Plaza presents offerings for everyone

-

THE HUSTLE and bustle in the metro is enough to send any urbanite on the lookout for a quick break from the busy city scene. Shangri-La Plaza, the metro’s leading lifestyle destination, boasts of two wings that house stores offering high quality products and premium services — perfect for the “me time” we all deserve.

Bo’s Coffee Primo is the ideal chill spot for those looking to get some work or reading done while still being able to enjoy the convenience and proximity of Shangri-La Plaza’s many shops. Situated in a relaxing space at Level 3 of the Main Wing, Bo’s Coffee Primo is known for its good coffee and delectable pastries — the Dulce de Leche Cheesecake and the Mocha Froccino are must-try menu items.

Shangri-La Plaza is not only a shopping mecca, it also houses a premiere school for the arts for the budding fashion movers and shakers and creative trailblazers. The Institute of Creative Entrepreneurship, located at the Lower Ground Level of the East Wing, offers beginner, advance, and mastery courses for a wide array of art- and business-related subjects such as Fashion Design, Sewing, Styling, and Make Up. A fashion school in a mall is a good idea too; after all, where better to look for those fashion #goals than the East Wing’s Gucci, Alexander McQueen, and Givenchy, to name a few.

At the Lower Ground Level of the East Wing, you’ll find a salon dedicated to skincare — Skin 101. With a look that’s fun, inviting, and cozy, shoppers will find themselves booking a quick 45-minute Whitening or Seaweed Facial as they relax before their Cineplex date.

One can’t say “wellness” and “relaxation” without thinking of The Spa; and that’s why this tranquil space at Level 6 of the East Wing is a must-visit for those looking for some R&R. Aside from its Signature Classic Massage, they offer something to treat and rejuvenate the face too — the Aroma Facial Massage. The Aroma Facial Massage soothes the face, effectively reducing the tension, lines, and pallor of daily living.

After a long day of shopping, sometimes the most alluring thing to do is to just sit down, kick off your shoes, and get lost in a good book. Nail Spa at Level 5 of the Main Wing offers exactly that, and that’s why it’s a cult favorite in the mall. Guests can take a quick breather from all the walking with the Express Hands or Express Feet services, but there’s always the option to stay a little bit longer and enjoy the Pamper or Bliss Hands or Feet treatment.

Located at the North Wing of Shangri-La Plaza just along Internal Road is Planet Grapes — a casual yet sophisticated joint that is the embodiment of the restaurant’s tagline: “where streetfood meets wine.”
