- Arra B. Francia

THE master planner and developer of Bonifacio Global City ( BGC) launched on Thursday a new coworking space set to cater to startups and small businesses wanting to locate in Taguig’s business district.

In a statement issued yesterday, Fort Bonifacio Development Corp. said it unveiled Clock- in Bonifacio High Street ( BHS), a 1,400- square meter coworking office space that can accommodate more than 300 coworkers. The project is a partnership between coworking space brands Clock- In by Ayala Land, Inc. and Square One BGC.

The company is targeting startups and small businesses. Freelancers may also take up office space, as an alternative to working in coffee shops.

“Most of our clients are seasoned industry players like e- commerce companies diversifying their portfolios. Whether they need just a workstation… or a legit headquarters in BGC that will put their business on the map, clients will find Clock-in an ideal starting point,” FBDC Deputy Head of Commercial Operations Myra Ocampo said in a statement.

The office space offers small offices, meeting rooms, individual desks, and open spaces that can further be customized. The project also has a communal area which the company said is intended for brainstorming sessions.

Clock-In will also be hosting LifeHacks sessions for coworkers, similar to TED Talks, where industry experts are invited to share ideas on business and technology, among others.

“Square One merged with Clock-in to offer more perks, options, and networking opportunities for coworkers. We made our social halls much more spacious because those seemingly casual interactions often turn out to be a minefield of ideas from which passion projects take flight,” Ms. Ocampo said. —
