Trop­i­cal de­pres­sion Salome on its way out

TROP­I­CAL DE­PRES­SION Salome will no longer be over the Cen­tral Lu­zon land­mass by to­day, Nov. 10, and is ex­pected to be out of the Philip­pine area by Satur­day, ac­cord­ing to the Philip­pine At­mo­spheric, Geo­phys­i­cal and As­tro­nom­i­cal Ser­vices Ad­min­is­tra­tion (PAGASA). In its 5 p.m. bul­letin yes­ter­day, PAGASA still had storm warn­ing sig­nal #1 raised over sev­eral ar­eas: Metro Manila, Rizal, Bataan, Ca­marines Norte, Ca­marines Sur, Catan­d­u­anes, Al­bay, Sor­so­gon, Mas­bate in­clud­ing Ti­cao and Burias Is­lands, Romblon, Marinduque, Que­zon, La­guna, Cavite, Batan­gas, Ori­en­tal Min­doro, Oc­ci­den­tal Min­doro. The rain­fall amount was es­ti­mated to be mod­er­ate to heavy within the 250-kilo­me­ter di­am­e­ter of Salome, the 19th storm to hit the Philip­pines this year.
