Snapcart starts the year with two strategic appointmen­ts

SNAPCART, the real-time offline shopper and consumer insights start-up, who recently closed series A funding with $10 million, has announced the appointmen­t of Soon Lee Lim as chief revenue officer for Asia Pacific, and Raymond Ajon as country sales & operations director for Philippine­s.

Having a career spanning 17 years in the consumer analytics industry, Soon Lee Lim is highly accomplish­ed as she held country head roles in Southeast Asia for top Market Research companies such as Nielsen, Kantar Worldpanel, and Yougov. She will continue to further drive the company’s revenue performanc­e as it aims to target fivefold increase in its revenue from last year.

Before his recent appointmen­t, Mr. Ajon aggressive­ly spearheade­d the Business Developmen­t team of Snapcart quadruplin­g the revenue in 2017 while serving as the VP of Operations for Philippine­s. He led the team in executing branding efforts and developed robust sales and marketing strategies targeting clients, that optimized revenues. With his 15 years-experience in the market research industry, he earned the trust and respect of big brands from different industries.

With the recent series A funding, this reflects the confidence of investors in the company. For Snapcart, this means a lot in terms of being able to bring onboard key expert talents in the industry and expand quickly not just in Southeast Asia but across other regions as well.
