New pest control innovations from Temox

-

Perhaps you live in an old house that has withstood the test of time. But because it has seen better days and has not had the benefit of a full renovation, insects and other pests may have also called it their home.

On the other hand, maybe your house is relatively new and you regularly invest in professional pest control. But your surroundings may not necessarily be as clean and pest-free as you hope. The empty lot beside your house may be an insect magnet; or your neighbor is not as conscious about cleanliness as you are.

Confronted with such factors beyond your control, you need your own pest control solutions that are efficient and effective.

Monsi Chemical Manufacturing Industries, makers of Temox multiinsect killer, has been continuously innovating to “provide efficient household products for Filipino families.”

The company’s flagship product, Temox Multi-Insect Killer, is an effective, yet affordable insecticide that provides maximum killing power against flies, mosquitoes, and cockroaches in and around the house. Kerosene or water based, it comes in liquid or aerosol form.

But Monsi does not stop at that. While it continues to address household pest problems through its nontoxic and pesticide-free solutions for capturing rodents, crawling, and flying pests, it maintains research and development and testing labs with its overseas manufacturing partners. This way, it can monitor what products are available globally, and which of these can be brought in locally.

Edward Cheng Marketing Executive of Monsi explains that in the course of innovating, the company discovered that “sometimes the simple methods to effectively capture these pests are just through slight adjustments in design and utilities.”

Take the Temox Fly Stick. A first in the Philippines, it is an odorless, non-toxic flying insect trap that is easy to use. Simply hang it in areas where you want to control or eliminate the presence of flies. It is great for homes, farms, picnic areas, restaurants, or any indoor or outdoor space. The fly stick lasts for several months and can also trap moths and other flying insects.

Cheng elaborates: “Temox Flystick provides a natural attract with its yellow color. Its utility, compared to other flying insect traps, is maximized through the different ways by which it could be displayed – inside the box, hung, or as it is – just by removing the perforated cut.”

Then, there is the Temox Cockroach House, which protects your home and reduces roaches. It features an inner adhesive surface that, together with the accompanying food-grade pellets that act as bait, attracts and captures the cockroaches. Because it folds into the shape of a “house,” the trapped roaches are kept out of sight. Once the protective film is removed, the trap is effective for up to 30 days, or until it becomes full, whichever comes first. It is also pesticide-free, non-toxic, and odorless.

And last, but certainly not the least, is the cleverly designed Temox Glue Trap which is devised to capture and rid your home of pesky rodents. Its adhesive surface is formulated to have the strongest glue to catch mice, rats, roaches, spiders, and other pests. Having a mild peanut scent, the Temox Glue Trap is easy to use and dispose of. After removing the protected film, it can be assembled to form a “tent.” This prevents the trapped rodent from running and escaping the enclosure. It is best to position the Temox Glue Trap indoors along walls, in corners, and in concealed areas where rodents are active.

Cheng looks forward to the time when each household will be pest-free with the regular use of the Temox product line. That is why the company is looking to expand its network all over the country and is interested in strategic alliances with distributors. At the same time, Monsi remains actively listening to the consumer while observing its needs, so that it could determine which market innovations it could bring in locally.

Temox household products are available at leading supermarkets, hardware stores, and home improvement shops nationwide. For more information and distribution inquiries, please contact chengedward@monsi. ph or 3618229
