Pacquiao tapped to design affordable homes, gyms
REVOLUTION Precrafted Properties Philippines, Inc. has partnered with Senator Emmanuel “Manny” D. Pacquiao for the design of mass housing projects and prefabricated gyms, both locally and overseas.
In an e- mail, the Antonioled company said it has signed an agreement with Mr. Pacquiao for the design of the components of socalled Sports City developments. Each Sports City will feature prefabricated homes catered toward the affordable market, as well as sports and wellness facilities, and boxing academies.
Revolution Precrafted said it will introduce Sports City in some parts of Asia and South America. The company is also assessing whether it can develop land properties owned by Mr. Pacquiao.
A company representative said they expect to unveil the designs made by Mr. Pacquiao before his next fight on July 14.
The supplier of prefabricated structures has been able to strike several deals in the past six months. Last March, the company tied up with Dubai- based Seven Tides International for prefabricated condominiums and hotel villas in nine out of 300 artificial islands in it’s the World Islands project. The structures are projected to generate $3.2 billion in sales. Within a week after expanding to Dubai, it bagged a $ 1.2- billion partnership with Myanmar’s KT group for the development of residential units within the company’s mixed- use riverfront estate called Okkyin City in Yangon.
In the Caribbean, the company secured a $ 300- million contract with Trinidad and Tobago’s NOVO Development Ltd. for the supply of 1,000 residential units in the island nations of Trinidad and Tobago, Guyana, Jamaica, and the Bahamas.
Revolution Precrafted will also be expanding in Japan with 85 hotel villas to be built on a beachfront property on Miyako Island, Okinawa.
Earlier this week, the company said it signed a deal with Puerto Rico’s Grupo Cacho, Inc. for the supply of over 2,000 residential villas on the island of Vieques and Boqueron Bay Cabo Rojo.
Locally, Revolution Precrafted snagged a project in Puerto Azul Beach Club in Cavite. It was tapped by listed property developer Boulevard Holdings, Inc. for an integrated resort project expected to generate P6 billion in sales.
The company’s other projects in the Philippines include the Batulao project in Nasugbu, Batangas, worth $1.1 billion, and the $ 750- million Revolution Flavorscapes in Mexico, Pampanga.
