Systems Integration expo sets stage for high-tech innovations
THE 12th largest population in the world, and arguably one of the most tech-savvy around, the Philippines offers a multitude of opportunities for tech companies and investors. For the past decade or so, many of them have been participating in the country’s longest-running trade show for business technologies: Systems Integration Philippines (SIP). The show is back for its latest edition set to be held on Aug. 16 to 18 at the SMX Convention Center Manila, Mall of Asia Complex. Those interested in visiting may register online for a free 1-day pass: www. globallinkmp.com/SIP.
“The Philippines is slowly but surely catching up with the rest of Asia when it comes to attracting tech brands and investors,” said Patrick Tan, CEO of Global-Link MP Events International. “We have seen this at Systems Integration Philippines over the past couple of years where we had increasing participation from foreign brands. This year, we are even adding a pavilion for Singapore companies alone. It’s a very exciting opportunity for Philippine-based companies who want to see what’s available out there in the market and how these tech can possibly help them do business better.”
This year’s Systems Integration Philippines will showcase products from countries like China, Japan, Singapore, Netherlands, USA, UK and Germany. “We made sure everyone will be highlighted from events, film and entertainment technology; consumer electronics and gadgets; advertising and media tech; IT and telecoms; as well as the educational and training technology,” Mr. Tan said.
Expect to witness the most advanced equipment and innovative solutions as world renowned tech savvy experts from Taiwan External Trade Development Council, Singapore and China showcase different pavilions packed with their best product offerings.
The event will also feature over 300 local and international brands. Aside from an exhibit filled with the latest technologies, industry professionals and guests can also partake in seminars and workshops to be held alongside the event. Updates about the seminar and their registration details will be posted on the event’s official website ( www.globallinkmp.com/SIP) and Facebook page @SystemsIntegrationPH.
