FWD Life Insurance supports Save the Children

-

PAN-ASIAN insurer FWD Life Insurance donated P100,000 to Save the Children Philippines, Inc. (SCP), in support of the organization’s advocacy to provide opportunities for children to live a better life.

The proceeds came from campaign initiatives led by the insurer’s Bancassurance sales team.

The said donation is the second tranche of a financial grant from the insurer which earlier backed the foundation’s Lahat Santa Christmas campaign through its corporate office employees’ initiative.

Save the Children is the world’s leading independent children’s organization that promotes children’s rights to quality education, health services and protection in developing countries.

In the Philippines, SCP has been working on creating better lives for Filipino children for over three decades.

“FWD Life Insurance empowers people to live fulfilled lives while advocating equal opportunities for all through our Community Care program,” said FWD Life Insurance Philippines’ Head of Marketing Roche Vandenberghe.

“In supporting Save the Children, we hope to help advance opportunities to more Filipino children so they can have a better future.”

The check turnover ceremony was held on July 16 at FWD’s corporate office in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig.
