will take its audience to a “Journey to the Kingdom of Books,” featuring an afternoon concert with the Philippine Philharmonic Orchestra (PPO), under the baton of Herminigildo Ranera. The orchestra will perform a selection of popular classical masterpieces made for children’s ears including Mozart’s (Third Movement), Brahm’s and 6, Chabrier’s and other surprise numbers. One of the highlights will be the Sergei Prokofiev’s a “symphonic fairy tale for children” where the narrator tells a children’s story, while the orchestra “illustrates” it with different instruments, representing characters in the story. Pre-concert activities will include the musical instruments “petting zoo” at the lobby of Tanghalang Aurelio Tolentino (Little Theater). There will also be storytelling sessions by theater actress Liesl Batucan as well as Trick or Treats at the Main Theater lobby.
