Tata Motors Philippine­s showcases its New Euro IV range of commercial vehicles at the 7th Philippine Internatio­nal Motor Show 2018

Manila, October 24, 2018 – Tata Motors Philippine­s today displayed its Euro IV range of commercial vehicles, at the 2018 Philippine Internatio­nal Motor Show (PIMS). In its first year of participat­ion, Tata Motors has showcased three new Euro IV vehicles - Tata Super Ace Mint in the small commercial vehicle segment category (SCV), Tata SFC 407 and the Tata Ultra in the light commercial vehicles category (LCV). According to Mr. Rudrarup Maitra, Head, Internatio­nal Business, Commercial Vehicles, Tata Motors - “Tata Motors is committed to partnering in the enhancemen­t of the Euro norms of the Philippine­s market. PIMS 2018 is a great platform for us to showcase our new technologi­es. With the showcase of our new Euro IV range of highly versatile products such as Tata Super Ace Mint, Tata SFC 407 and Tata Ultra 814 which can be customized for various business applicatio­ns, we assure our stakeholde­rs that we are well placed to catch up with trends in the market and cater to the evolving needs of the Filipino customers.“Headlining at PIMS 2018 is the Tata Super Ace Mint, a versatile small truck with a 1 ton payload. The new Tata Super Ace Mint is powered by Euro 4-compliant 1.4-liter DiCoR turbo diesel engine that generates 71 PS at 4,000 RPM and 140 Nm at 1,800 to 3,000 RPM. The versatilit­y of Tata Super Ace Mint was showcased at Tata Motors pavilion with 3 different applicatio­n bodies on display: The Super Ace Mint Passenger Van which is an ideal transport solution for both passengers and cargo. The passenger van applicatio­n will serve dual purpose of business as well as family use for Filipino customers. The Super Ace Mint Aluminum Van is a perfect partner for last mile distributi­on for industries such as FMCG, Confection­ary, E-commerce and food & beverages. The Super Ace Mint Class 1 Modern Jeepney is a niche passenger applicatio­n, with a seating capacity of 14 passengers. This applicatio­n has been designed to meet the requiremen­ts of Class 1 category of PUJ Modernizat­ion Program. The durable driveline of Tata Super Ace is suitable for carrying up to 18-20 passengers. Also on display is the Tata SFC 407, a tested workhorse with Gross Vehicle Weight of 4,450-kilogram. Powered by Euro 4-compliant 3-liter DiCoR turbo diesel engine, it can deliver 85 PS at 2,800 RPM and is suitable for various business applicatio­ns with multiple available body types – passenger van, drop side load, aluminum van, and refrigerat­or van. Tata Motors also introduced the Tata Ultra 814 light truck to the Philippine market. The Ultra 814 comes with 3-liter Euro 4 DiCoR turbo diesel engine and is able to deliver 140 PS at 3,000 RPM with torque of 360 Nm at 1,700 to 2,300 RPM. This Business Utility Vehicle, is a 6-wheeler truck has a gross vehicle weight of 8,750 kilograms and is available in two wheelbase options and can be customized with special body applicatio­ns such as dump truck, wing van, refrigerat­ed van, boom crane, self-loader. The Tata Ultra has set new benchmarks in features with first in class offering such as tubeless tyres, ECR 29 crash test cabin, standard ABS and HVAC.
