Seda Vertis North unveils 2018 Christmas offerings

A RINGSIDE view of the holiday season’s most spectacula­r fireworks displays and a trove of Christmas treats and goodies are being offered by Seda Vertis North.

According to Seda Group General Manager Brett Hickey, the hotel’s roofdeck bar called Straight Up on the 24th floor is the best place to witness Metro Manila’s dazzling fireworks beginning in the first weeks of December and climaxing on New Year’s Eve.

Last New Year’s eve or just a few months after the 438-room hotel in a highly strategic Quezon City location opened, Hickey recalls witnessing around 300 fireworks display at Straight Up from 11 p.m. on Dec. 31 up to 1 a.m. on Jan. 1. The pyrotechni­cs that lit up the sky in Quezon City, Cubao, Manila Bay, Makati and BGC last year are likely to astonish guests once again. This year, they also can enjoy unlimited drinks and a full spread of hors d’oeuvres, desserts and carvings from 8 p.m. up to the countdown to 2019 with a live band and a deejay providing entertainm­ent.

Meanwhile, the hotel with loyal clients from Northern Metro Manila is already offering its signature banana bread, premium ham, traditiona­l fruit cake, raspberry shortbread cookies and other delightful sweets very popular as gifts. The hotel has also put together holiday hampers featuring an alternativ­e assortment of breads such as rye or multigrain, European style hard rolls, and French baguettes with savory jams.

The spirit of Christmas will officially be ushered in on Nov. 16 with a tree-lighting ceremony at 6 p.m. Smile Train, which assists kids with cleft palates correct their condition, will offer donors ornaments they can hang on the tree.

From Dec. 8 and every Saturday and Sunday thereafter up to Dec. 23, a Santa Meet and Greet has been arranged from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. for young guests. Carolers will further spread Yuletide cheer from Dec. 17 to 21 from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the hotel’s impressive contempora­ry lobby. All-day internatio­nal dining outlet Misto will also offer special Christmas and New Year menus.

All these give local Metro Manila residents reason to enjoy staycation­s at the hotel which will offer a special room package of P7,200 per night for a onenight stay in a deluxe room inclusive of breakfast for two adults and two children under age six; and P6,300 per night for a two-night stay up to Jan. 31.
