Next-generation Ford everest takes comfort, safety and ownership experience to the Next level

-

The next-generation Ford everest has officially made its local debut in the country, blending adventure-ready capability with exceptional comfort and customer-focused technology in a rugged, refined, and fun to drive SUV.

Ford Philippines is also announcing that the next-gen Everest will come with a fiveyear warranty to enhance the ownership experience. The longer warranty offering will cover the next-gen Everest for up to five years or total mileage of up to 150,000 kilometers, whichever comes first.

Armed with more customer feedback than ever before, the objective behind the development for the next-gen Everest was clear: Tough on the outside, sanctuary on the inside, amazing capability underneath.

Rugged outside

A wider track by 50mm and 50mm longer wheelbase give the next-gen Everest its more progressive, muscular appearance, with a dramatic swell over the wheels that comes from a strong shoulder line that runs from front to back enhancing the strong and modern look.

A mix of horizontal and vertical elements on the front end add to a more stable look, with Ford’s global design DNA reflected in the C-clamp headlamps and horizontal upper grille bar. The LED taillights set in a full-width design emphasize the Everest’s increased track.

The panoramic moonroof available in the Titanium variants allows fresh air to get into the cabin at the touch of a button, while the hands-free power liftgate allows easy and quick access into the Everest’s spacious trunk with a kick of one’s foot under the sensor.

A sanctuary inside

inside, the next-gen Everest boasts of a roomy interior with plush leather seats, premium finishes and ambient lighting in areas where they can be appreciated best. The sense of spaciousness is amplified by the full-width instrument panel and center console with dual cupholder recesses, plus dash-mounted ‘pop out’ cupholders for front seat occupants.

Thanks to the second-row seats’ ability to slide further forward than before, access to the third-row seats is much easier. Additionally, all occupants have more places to store their things, and can charge their devices through power outlets in all three rows.

Ford prioritized flexible seating in the next-gen Everest – the second-row slides with a 60:40 split seatback and the 50:50 split third row in the seven-seater configuration can be folded at the touch of a button on high-series models. Both the second- and third-row seats are designed to fold flat to allow for long loads to be carried safely. Additionally, a hands-free liftgate opens with a simple kick, allowing users to open the back door of the vehicle even with their hands full–enabling easier cargo loading.

The sophisticated and comfortable interior is underpinned by an updated chassis, wider track, and refined suspension tuning. simply put, the next-gen Everest offers a balanced ride performance, whether on the highway or rough terrain.
