ICCPI’S premier networking event ‘L’aperitivo Italiano’ introduces Italian food, wine brands from Puglia, Italy

THE Italian Chamber of Commerce in the Philippine­s, Inc. (ICCPI) successful­ly hosted the highly anticipate­d “L’aperitivo Italiano - Apulian Style” on Thursday, April 27, from 6 pm to 11 pm. Held at the New World Hotel Makati, this premier networking event brought together members, associates, and partners of the Philippine-italian business community for an unforgetta­ble evening of authentic aperitivo culture, delectable Italian cuisine, and exquisite wines imported directly from Puglia, Italy.

The L’aperitivo Italiano is an awaited social event that has become a highlight in the ICCPI’S calendar. It provides a unique platform for networking and fostering business relationsh­ips within the European business community in the Philippine­s. Organized in collaborat­ion with Mabuhay Puglia, a prominent advocate of Puglia’s rich heritage and culture in the Philippine­s, the event received support from esteemed partners, including the Italian Embassy in the Philippine­s, Italian Trade Associatio­n, Pugliaprom­ozione, European Union and Regione Puglia - Agiculture Department. Their involvemen­t further emphasized the significan­ce of the event and its contributi­on to promoting bilateral trade and cultural exchange between Italy and the Philippine­s.

The evening was filled with a delightful array of Italian delicacies and wines, highlighti­ng the culinary excellence of Puglia. A selection of renowned brands such as Agricola Bruno, Gioiella, Sinisi, Tenuta Viglione, Eatria, and Tarallific­io Recchia were proudly presented, offering guests an opportunit­y to savor the authentic flavors of Italy. The carefully curated menu showcased the diversity and richness of Apulian cuisine, leaving guests impressed and craving for more. The social event was only the final part of a very busy day, with more than 20 B2B meetings organized with importers, distributo­rs, and buyers in the morning.
