PROPERTY giant Megaworld’s 12.3-hectare Arcovia City in Pasig City has notched its latest milestone after formally receiving accreditation as a cyberpark from the Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA), becoming the second such development from Megaworld along C5 Road.

Back in 1999, Megaworld notched a historic first in the Philippines after its pioneering livework-play township, Eastwood City in Quezon City, was granted the first-ever cyberpark accreditation by PEZA. This milestone proves to be a major achievement in the country’s booming business sector as it paved the way for the rise of the IT-BPO industry in the Philippines, which has since become a major contributor to the economy.

An efficient ecosystem to grow businesses

IT-BPO companies and multinational firms that call Megaworld townships their home enjoy the unparalleled convenience of operating within an efficient community that emphasizes seamless connectivity and mobility.

Continuing to take shape as one of the major developments along the prime segment of the C5 corridor, Arcovia City enjoys strategic proximity to Bonifacio Global City, the Makati central business district (CBD), and the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA), while also being very accessible to the Ortigas CBD.

Today, Arcovia City is rising fast as a vibrant and sustainable township, with more commercial establishments having already opened within the Arcovia Parade. This includes restaurants and cafés like Italianni’s, Mary Grace, Texas Roadhouse, Nono’s, UCC Clockwork, Pho Hoa, and Randy’s Donuts, as well as several other retail outlets. There’s also the Manila Padel Club, a perfect facility not just for fitness enthusiasts but also for families and friends looking to bond through healthy competition.

High-rise residential condos and Megaworld’s tallest hotel to date

ASIDE from these, several residential condo towers are already rising inside the township.

Megaworld recently topped off its first residential condominium in Arcovia City, the 45-story 18 Avenue de Triomphe. Construction is also underway for two other skyscrapers: the two-tower Arcovia Palazzo (40 and 45 stories tall) and the 50-story Arcovia Parkplace. All three developments feature smart home units and sweeping views of the Metro Manila skylines, the mountains of Rizal, as well as the iconic Arco de Emperador.

Soon, the township will also feature its own hotel with the 31-story Arcovia Hotel, Megaworld’s second hotel in Pasig City, rising as its tallest hotel development to date. Inspired by Neoclassical architecture, Arcovia Hotel will feature 339 hotel rooms, as well as four dining outlets, its own Executive Lounge, and a ballroom that can accommodate up to 300 individuals, among other amenities.

One of Megaworld’s 37 Leedcertified office buildings

INSIDE the township is the 17-story One Paseo, a state-of-theart green office building with more than 23,000 square meters of gross leasable area. Further highlighting Megaworld’s thrust towards sustainability, One Paseo boasts its own Gold LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environment Design) certification from the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) and Green Business Certification Inc. (Gcbi)—just one of the 37 green office developments by Megaworld, the most for any real estate developer in the country.

Among the notable features and amenities of One Paseo include a standby generator supplying 100% backup power to the entire tower; a 24-hour security command center monitoring all building facilities; an overhead tank and underground cistern for ample water supply; fire detection and alarm systems, as well as a fire sprinkler system for common and office areas; a seismic detection and monitoring system; CCTV monitoring in select common areas; a building management system; and more.

One Paseo can be easily accessed by vehicles and pedestrians coming from Quezon City, Mandaluyong, Makati, Taguig, or Antipolo. The building is just one of the many office developments rising inside Arcovia City.

Arcovia City is one of the 31 live-work-play township developments by property giant Megaworld, the only Philippine real estate development company to earn a Hall of Fame distinction as Best Developer after winning the Outstanding Developer Award at the Property and Real Estate Excellence Award by FIABCI Philippines for three straight years (2015, 2016, and 2017). The company was also named the Best Developer at the prestigious Philippines Property Awards by Propertyguru for three consecutive years (2016, 2017, and 2018).
