TCL 10 5G smartphone debuts
TCL Philippines has established itself as a value-for-money brand when it comes to televisions. This week, it officially debuted in the Philippine market its line of affordable but feature-laden smartphones.
In partnership with VST ECS, the company launched the TCL 10 5G, which is touted as a “premium, yet affordable Android device” that will leverage the brand’s “self-curated visual technology called NXTVISION.”
In a virtual presentation, VST ECS and TCL announced to the tech media community their partnership in promoting the latter’s line of smartphones and tablets and other products that should make working or learning from home during the pandemic easier.
“As one of the world’s leading consumer electronics brands, expanding the TCL brand into the mobile space ensures that we are one of the only global manufacturers that offers a fully integrated ecosystem of smart products in virtually every aspect of your life,” said Kevin Wang, CEO of TC Industrial Holdings. “This makes it possible for us to provide our customers with a wide range of products capable of working seamlessly together and do so more affordably than everyone else,” he added.
The TCL 10 5G takes advantage of its advanced proprietary display that boasts razor-sharp images and accurate colors.
With its motto of “delivering 5G technology to every Juan,” the TCL 10 5G powered by the Snapdragon 765G 5G mobile platform with the Qualcomm Snapdragon X52 5G modem-RF System and AI engine.
It supports increased data bandwidth for faster uploads, downloads, with an upgraded Wi-Fi connection stability. The large, modern 6.53-inch full-HD display provides a 91 percent screen-to-body ratio.
At the back, the TCL 10 5G sports a quad-camera setup that includes a 64MP high-resolution main camera, a 118-degree ultra-wide-angle camera, a macro camera that lets users take super close-up shots at only 2 centimeters away, and a depth camera for professional quality photos with Bokeh.
“The TCL 10 5G’s front-facing 16MP camera ups the selfie game with its 4-in-1 big pixel technology that automatically combines four pixels into one to produce brighter selfie photos and improve low-light capabilities,” said the company.
The smartphone can also serve as a music streaming center as it can connect up to four Bluetooth speakers at once for “the ultimate dance party or silent disco party,” using headphones for the latter.

“We are delighted to include TCL Mobile to our fold of impressive product portfolio. This addition solidifies our commitment to offer end-to-end solutions for practically all verticals and provide new growth opportunities for our channel partners,” said Jimmy Go, president and CEO of VST ECS.
