Gerald Anderson walks around at home wearing undies
Unfortunately only people close to him know where he lives, so it’s not likely that he’ll be stalked by fanatics who would like to get a glimpse of him almost naked.
It’s been almost two years since Gerald Anderson allegedly ghosted Bea Alonzo and began a relationship with Julia Barretto. But the memory of being dumped like trash is apparently still fresh in Bea’s mind, as she was quoted in a recent interview that she’d slap Gerald if their paths cross.
If netizens hate Gerald for his ungentlemanly act, others love him, if only for his looks — judging by positive reactions on the ABS-CBN Facebook page over a photo showing the Kapamilya talent in his underwear.
Meanwhile, GMA talent Derrick Monasterio has posted on Instagram his own skimpily clad photo. It’s part of his self-promotion as a brand endorser of Bench underwear.
It’s actually from a scene in the coming ABS-CBN series Init sa Magdamag, with Gerald in his undies facing his costar Yam Concepcion.
At a recent video meet for the media, Gerald said Julia loved the photo, adding that he walks around at home in similar minimal clothing.

It has drawn about 70,000 views — some
21 hours after the photo was uploaded on 15 April.
Among those who viewed the pic was Derrick’s Kapuso colleague Sanya
Lopez, who commented, “Oy ohhhhh,” accompanied with raging flames emojis.
Fashion designer Mark Bumgarner had a similar “oh” reaction, with a tongue-slurping emoji.
Actor Will Devaughn commented: “So who else is licking their phone screen right now?”
Showbiz industry insider Noel Ferrer wrote in pep.ph that he hopes the Bench endorsement will help improve Derrick’s career — in the same breath asking if the actor has “a paying crowd.”
Derrick, the son of 1970s beauty queen and former actor Tina Monasterio, is virtually inactive at present. His most recent appearance was as a judge in the reality competition Catch Me Out Philippines which airs Saturday nights with Jose Manalo as host.

The show was launched in February. Nobody is talking about it. Not even when Cacai Bautista, a co-judge of Derrick in the show, figured in a controversy as an alleged lawyer representing the management of Mario Maurer sent her a letter to stop associating herself with the Thai actor.
