Two-time champion OG punched a ticket to The International 10 (TI10) following an impressive victory over Tundra Esports, 3-2, in their best-of-five series last week.

Composed Sumail “SumaiL” Hassan, Topias “Topson” Taavitsainen, Sebastien “Ceb” Debs, Martin “Saksa” Sazdov and Johan “N0tail” Sundstein, OG has struggled to find its form throughout the DPC (DOTA 2 Pro Circuit) season while Tundra looked unstoppable until the Western Europe The International Qualifier finals.

The pair earlier met in the upper bracket finals where Tundra sent OG crashing to the lower bracket with a dominant 2-0 sweep.

OG had to muster a 2-1 win over Team Nigma in the lower bracket finals to book a rematch with Tundra in the qualifier finals.

DOTA 2 fans knew they were in for a long night when Tundra won the first game that lasted 59 minutes.

The pair earlier met in the upper bracket finals where Tundra sent OG crashing to the lower bracket with a dominant 2-0 sweep.

OG won Games 2 and 4 while Tundra prevailed in Game 3 which evened the score to 2-2, setting up an all-or-nothing Game 5.

The Nyx Assassin, Templar Assassin, Dark Seer, Pangolier and Disruptor lineup ultimately got the job done for OG ending Game 5 in 31 minutes.

It was the shortest round of the series though OG had to play a total of eight grueling games that day to keep its three-peat hopes alive at The International 10, where teams would battle for their share of the record $40,000,000 prize pool.

“I could have played twenty more in a row,” said SumaiL after winning the BO5 series with Tundra.

“I was just ready for the games, keep it coming. I did not mind, I did not mind at all.”
