Tipsy tippers

-

A fish is caught by its mouth, so one proverb goes. This means that careless talking exposes one’s wrongdoing.

From the mouth of one felon, however, an incriminating thing came out instead of words. An American driver tried to hide contraband in his

car when he was pulled over by a state trooper in Portage County, Ohio.

The suspect swallowed the evidence as Trooper Charles Hoskin approached him. Unfortunately, it got stuck in his throat.

Upon looking at the car window, Hoskin noticed the guy inside having trouble breathing. The shirtless suspect got off the car to try to get some air and walked to the back of his car. Realizing he was choking, the trooper hugged the man below the stomach and pressed on it hard.

The suspect expelled a small bag containing a gram of weed blocking his throat through the police’s Heimlich maneuver. Unfortunately, the same illegal drug caused his arrest. It was undeniable as the suspect was recorded by the dashcam of Hoskin’s patrol car as he admitted he had swallowed the marijuana which was ejected from his mouth.

In India, three farmers were arrested recently after their clandestine illegal activities were accidentally exposed also by mouth.

The farmers saw their buffaloes acting strangely and their mouths frothing one day. They called the veterinarian to find out the problem.

The vet inspected the water the buffaloes were drinking in a trough. The water smelled different, and upon closer look, the vet found some broken bottles at the bottom of the trough, the contents of which had contaminated the water. The buffaloes drank the tainted water that made them feel sick and froth in the mouth.

The animal doctor reported the bottles to the police who then raided the farm. The police found the incriminating evidence and arrested the farmers for illegally making and selling moonshine.

There were no words coming from the drunken buffaloes, but their bubbling mouth blew the cover of the bootlegging farmers. WJG@tribunephl_wjg
