Bataan Freeport investors granted safety seal
Bello said the Safety Seal signifies that a company is compliant with all the standards set by the government to prevent the spread of Covid-19 in the workplace
BALANGA CITY, Bataan — The Department of Labor and Employment (DoLE) recently granted the Safety Seal award to eight registered enterprises at the Freeport Area of Bataan (FAB) for compliance of all safety requirements set by the government amid the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) pandemic.
Awarded the Safety Seal Certification include Almatech Mfg. Corp., BFD Global Footwear Mfg. Inc, D.I. Dawn Patrol Mfg. Corp., Dong-In Sunbirds
Corporation, East-Cam Tech Corp., Essilor Mfg. Phils., Inc., Mitsumi Phils. Inc. and Perpetual Prime Mfg. Inc.
The recognition was witnessed by Bataan Governor Abet Garcia, Representative Joet Garcia and other local government officials at The Bunker in Balanga City, Bataan.
Labor Secretary Silvestre Bello III said that the Safety Seal signifies that a company is compliant with all the standards set by the government to prevent the spread of Covid-19 in the workplace.
Meantime, Authority of the FAB administrator Emmanuel Pineda expressed his gratitude to the locators for complying with the protocols.
“Thank you for complying with the safety protocols and ensuring a safe working environment for your employees, which will also help FAB attract more investors that can help the economy to recover,” Pineda said.
The Safety Seal Certification Program is directed by the Inter-Agency Task Force Resolution 87 S. 2020 and manufacturing companies are under the issuing authority of DoLE along with establishments in the construction, utilities, information and communication, and warehousing industries.
