To recall, the SPD chief ordered the surprise drug test on Wednesday at the Multi-purpose Hall of the SPD Headquarters in Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City in line with the intensified internal cleansing program of the PNP.
“All yielded negative results to the test for the presence of Methamphetamine (shabu) and THC metabolites (marijuana), both dangerous drugs,” Kraft said in an online interview and added that the agency is ready to release the official chemistry report of the 96 substation commanders.

Meantime, National Capital Region Police Office chief Maj. Gen. Jonnel Estomo lauded the effort of Kraft and the SPD for doing their fair share to cleanse the ranks of rogue police personnel.
Estomo sad the Regional Forensic Unit NCR headed by Lt. Col. Victor Drapete administered the drug test to ensure that none of the commanders and their deputies were using or engaging in any illicit drugrelated activity.
“I am happy with the steps taken by the SPD to subject their substation commanders and deputies to random drug tests in response to our SILG’s campaign to clean our ranks from policemen who are using and are involved in illegal drugs,” said Estomo.
He added that it is part of the NCRPO’s determined and proactive approach to cleanse its ranks and give the opportunity to innocent cops to clear their names and continue with their service to the people.
